Coach Omar's Story
Omar is a native of the beautiful Island of Jamaica. His most fund memories were playing soccer in the streets of Jamaica. Omar went from playing in the streets of Jamaica to developing into a very well respected youth player, representing his country at the youth level, dominating the high school leagues and playing for one of the top club teams on the Island. Omar received a full scholarship to a Division 1 school in Valparaiso, Indiana where he completed his Bachelors Degree and went on to complete his MBA at Liberty University.
Omar practiced very hard for this opportunity that allowed him the opportunity of a lifetime. He would like to help other players and parents understand the process of receiving a scholarship, the financial benefits associated with these opportunities and skills needed to catch the attention of college coaches.
